Pietro de Félice (12??-1343)*
| Pietro
(Peter) de Félice was born in the late 13th century in
Montescaglioso. In 1331 he was appointed Bishop of Venosa by Pope
John XXII (1249-1334).
In 1334 he became Archbishop Pietro V (5th) of Matera. He died in Montescaglioso on September 17th 1343 and is buried there in the Chiesa Madre. |
